th was Matthew's parent day. They invite the parents to watch the kids sing songs. Oran was able to go, they did it during his lunch break.
Mikayla and I got their very early and got front row seats! Matthew sat right on the end so we had a great view. The kids are so cute I almost cried during the song "Were proud to an American"

That is Matthew at the end, the women at the end of the row behind Matthew in black is Mrs.
Phelan, his teacher.

After the "show" we got
to go back to his class for cookies and lemonade. Matthew also made us special presents, it was very sweet. One of the projects he made us was a card for each of us, Mom and Dad. They gave a
prompt and he just filled in the blanks I thought I would share it with you.....All the words in CAPITAL letters are what Matthew wrote....................
Mom:
my mom is "30" inches tall. My mom weighs "42" pounds. My mom is "69" years old. My mom STAYS HOME ALL DAY AND WASHES DISHES. i like to PLAY with my mom. my mom's name is MOM. (that is so funny last year Thomas said I weighed 250 pounds and was 16 years old!!! I am just glad he did not mention me cleaning the toilets.
Dad:
my dad is "14" inches tall. my dad weighs "44" pounds. my dad is "91" years old. all day he WORKS IN SELMA ON CARS. i like to PLAY OUTSIDE AND PLAY BASEBALL with my dad. my dad's name is ORAN. (now why is it he knows his dad's name but not mine?)
Are we the luckiest parents or what?
LOL! I LOVE the poem...that is soooo funny and cute! Especially the "My mom stays home all day and washes dishes". Great kids!
