Tis' the Season!

On Saturday we took the kids to Costco.............and I saw a kit to make a gingerbread house, I love gingerbread houses but frankly they do not love me. They fall apart, break and usually end up being eaten by the kids and never used as a decoration. But I decided to give it another try..keep your finger crossed!
So I started to put it togather and than begin to decortate it when the house began to crumble... Than Oran reminded me I let it dry. To be honest I was starting to get frustrated and patience is not something I am known to have much of, but I started to have flashbacks of gingerbread past and decided I should wait. Plus 6 kids telling me that it looks nothing like the box can be a bit annoying, so we got ready to go out............I will update you later on the fate of the gingerbread house.

So while I let the Gingerbread house dry, our family, Nicole and her kids as well as Mom and Jim went out to dinner to my favorite place the Spaghetti Factory. All 6 kids at one end of the table.

So this is Jim, "dressed up" it is just a t-shirt made to look like a sweater!

Oran and I enjoying our dinner.

The kids in the car heading off to somewhere special............................

After Dinner we went down "Christmas Tree Lane" in Fresno. It is about 2 miles long of decorated houses. The kids really enjoyed the lights.

Mikayla learned the peace sign (thanks for that Thomas) and she was flashing it to Santa.

The owner of this house has way to much free time but it was a hit with the kids.

so after we got home and the kids were in bed, I finished the gingerbread house. No it does not look like the box but it is still standing and in the Medina house that says something!
