Field Trip with Thomas

I went on a field trip with Thomas' first grade class to Guardian Glass located in Kingsburg. To be honest I thought it was going to be boring not only for myself but for a bunch of seven year olds for sure. But to my great surprise it was a lot of fun and we learned so much. Our guide, Tom, (Thomas loved that they had the same name) was great he got us very close to a 4,000 degree furnace the kids loved it. It was great to see a local company thrive. We also learned they may the windows on the bus we rode in to visit the glass company. The kids thought that was really cool! It was fun watching Thomas learn something new, he was amazed.
