Morning at the park(s)

We are down in Whittier visiting, finding a new house and getting the boys registered for school. This morning I checked off one thing on my to do list: I got the boys all registered for school. Well at least Thomas and Matthew. Taylor can not register until the end of June. The kids were very well behaved while I was filing out all the papers so I decided to take them to a couple of parks I loved as a kid. Penn Park and Michigan Park. Enjoy the pictures

yes, I have to admit, the playground equipment was totally different from when I was a kid but it did not matter the kids loved both parks just like I used too.

Happy 11 Years

On March 20th, 1999 Oran and I got married in a small ceremony with close family and friends. We look so young and probably a little scared, but we were in love,

and 11 years later, we have been through good, bad, and wonderful times. We have grown up together while raising four incredible children. We are committed to our family and each other and after our children are grown, educated and start their futures we look forward to traveling and growing old together. (but i must point out Oran will always be older than me!)
Love you!!

Blossom train ride

I LOVE this time of year in the central Valley. Its not to cold or to hot. Spring is just around the corner (March 20th to be exact, its also Oran's and I 11th anniversary!) and its when every thing starts to bloom. The blossoms on the fruit trees are so pretty. Pink, white and yellow blossoms are just about everywhere you turn. (sorry if you have allergies its a rough time of year) Well today was clear, cool and crisp a perfect day to join my mom, Jim, sister and her kids on a train ride through the blossoms.
As you can see the kids were very excited to ride the train.

The boys (and Emily for about 5 seconds!)rode in the "cattle car"

They have a tree house, that has a swinging rope, the boys each had a turn at it.

We had a nice day with our family. Trains are always a hit!
